Playful, friendly, and thrive on attention, forming strong bonds with their families. They enjoy staying busy, and respond very well to positive reinforcement training. Intelligent and sociable, they enjoy interactive toys and games with their caregivers. Require 2-4 hours minimum out of their cage every day. Though a "mini" macaw, they have large personalities and act just as the bigger birds would. While not known as a particularly loud species, they may still make loud vocalizations.
DIET: Diet consists of a pelleted blend, veggies, fruits, nuts, and seeds as treats. A small amount of white meat, such as chicken is occasionally welcomed as well, as is completely cooked egg.
