Very quiet, with soft "meeting" sounds, and a short, quiet song for the males.  They come in a variety of mutations.  Easy to care for, hardy, and able to completely entertain themselves.  They enjoy toys in their cage, and will eagerly peck away at them.  Can pick on weaker flock mates.  With patience they are trainable, and can preform basic tricks tailored to their specie.  Inquisitive and curious, they are acrobatic and fun to watch.

They need the space to fly, and a larger cage despite their small size is recommended.

DIET: Diet consists of a commercial pelleted blend for soft bills, along with grass seeds and millet. They also enjoy a veggie mix or mash, and sprouts are a wonderful addition to their diet.
