Sexually dimorphic. Males have a bright red/orange beak, and females have a black one.
Shy by nature, they make sweet tempered, docile pets when handled frequently.
Great talking ability, and not overly noisy.
Extremely intelligent and enjoy interaction with people.
They prefer a more quiet environment, and make fine apartment birds.


DIET: Diet consists of a pelleted blend, veggies, fruits, nuts, and seeds as treats. A small amount of white meat, such as chicken is occasionally welcomed as well, as is completely cooked egg.
