Affectionate, loving, social, and durable birds that like to be a part of the family. Needs regular training, attention, and exercise to maintain tame, friendly, and loving behavior. Eager to learn, the Military Macaw trains very well. Prone to feather plucking and screaming when not given enough attention, or if bored. Bold, playful, and adventurous, they love to explore and interact with their environment. Not recommended for the novice bird owner.
DIET: Diet consists of a pelleted blend, veggies, fruits, nuts, and seeds as treats. A small amount of white meat, such as chicken is occasionally welcomed as well, as is completely cooked egg
